What you're buying

A BABA & Buy American Readiness Report for each product in your order. For each product, it shows where the product stands against the BABA and Buy American rules that apply to where you sell, based on the information and documents you give us.

The price is per product, set by the number of components in the product, with a volume discount on larger orders. You see the total before you pay.

You certify; Certivo verifies

Certivo does not certify your products or issue a certification. If you sign a certification letter for a product, you sign it as the manufacturer and you are responsible for it.

What Certivo does is verify: we check each product against the rules that apply, using what you give us. A product is Verified by Certivo when it passes every rule that applies and the data is backed by evidence on file. For Verified products we give you a certification letter template (complete one per project) for you to review, fill in and sign.

What the report covers

We assess only the information and documents you provide. We don't contact your suppliers as part of this report. Supplier outreach, document collection and ongoing monitoring are part of the Certivo platform, sold separately.

Payment

You pay once for the report, at checkout, by card or US bank account. Payments are processed by Stripe. Bank payments can take a few business days to clear, and we start work once they do.

Annual re-verification

Annual re-verification is optional and only for products that reach Verified by Certivo. It keeps a product verified for another year at $200 per product per year, starting 12 months after the product was verified.

Nothing renews unless you confirm it. We'll ask you first, and only then charge the payment method you used at checkout.

Cancellation

You can cancel annual re-verification anytime before it renews. Reply to any email about your order and we will cancel it.

Refunds

Our refund terms are being finalized, including what happens if the information we need never arrives. Until then, contact us about any refund request and we will work it out with you.

What you send us

You confirm that the information and files you give us are accurate to the best of your knowledge. Your results depend on them.

Confidentiality and how we use your data

We treat the files and data you give us (bills of materials, component costs, supplier documents and anything else you upload) as your confidential information. We use them only to prepare your report and to talk with you about your order.

We don't sell your data or share it outside Certivo, except with the service providers that host this site, store its files and process payments, and only so they can do that. We never use your data to train AI models.

To prepare your report, we move your files into the Certivo platform, where the analysis happens, and then delete them from this site. Anything left on this site is deleted 90 days after your reports are delivered, and the files of an order that is never paid are deleted after 30 days with no activity. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing sales@certivo.com.

You confirm that the files you upload contain no ITAR-controlled technical data or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). If they might, talk to our team before uploading.
